If you have already installed Kaboom, you can personalize the image that Kaboom displays in your diary. Your photo/logo will need to be a 100x50 (100 pixels wide and 50 pixels high) bitmap (bmp) image.

It's quick and easy -- Use Windows explorer to locate the files that we need. Kaboom is installed in C:\Program Files\Kaboom_v55, unless you specified otherwise during installation. Locate and double click on the file "spon.txt" It should automatically be opened in "Notepad". If not, use any text editing program loaded on your machine.

Changing Kaboom's image and message.
Simply edit the tags "Message:" and "Image" to reflect your message and the image you wish to be loaded by Kaboom.

When you have finished, save the file and remember to place your bitmap image in the same folder Kaboom was installed in.

Changing the background and text color.
Once you have made the above changes, you can change the background color to compliment your new image. Go to "Preferences" and select "Diary color".

The text that is displayed can be also be altered in the same way by selecting "Preferences " and then select "Text Color".

Once you have chosen a color combination, exit. Kaboom has now saved your color selection and will be loaded each time you or anyone else uses Kaboom again.

Last but not least

Now that you have Kaboom looking just the way you want it! Does your friend, boyfriend or girlfriend deserve a copy of your Kaboom? If you want to give a copy them a copy just remember to send them the file that we modified to ensure that Kaboom works properly. The files that you need to send are:
